In August 2024, Department of Health went live with a Human Resource Case Management Solution (HRCMS) in response to the Tasmanian Government's Commission of Inquiry into responses to child sexual abuse in institutional settings.
K2 Projects partnered Department of Health and Safety Suite to procure, design, build and deploy the solution in under 6 months. HRCMS will then be rolled out to the rest of the State service as part of the broader Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Platform.
HRCMS was supported by extensive design and training sessions for system users, including the publication of training resources on a dedicated knowledge base site.
The HRCMS strengthens the State Services ability to manage and record confidential case management issues, in accordance with the Employment Framework and Directions.
Further to this HRCMS:
- Improves the ease of logging alleged conduct breaches.
- Ensures secure digital record-keeping of incidents, and
- Establishes a single source of truth for incidents reporting and addresses concerns raised by the Commission.
We at K2 projects feel extremely honoured to be part of driving the implementation of such an exciting and important capability for the Tasmanian State Service.
